Soundwave 3D printable movable model
It’s Soundwave!
It is 40 centimeters tall (for americans it’s 0,0043 football fields or 1.3 feet) From the bottom of the feet to the highest parts of its arms. Fully flexible! There are movable joints in its ankles, knees, hips, torso, neck, collarbones, shoulders and elbows. That allows you to put it in different poses. AND I designed it based on LEGO hinges so you can find and buy them no matter where you live. Fingers are not movable but I made a pack of different replaceable palms’ positions that you can change whenever you want. The model can stand by itself but it’s not really stable. Laserbeak is not separable from the rest of the chest. It does not transform, I’m not that smart!
A couple of months ago I decided to make a special present to one of my friends who is really into Transformers fandom and especially likes Soundwave from Transformers prime series. The merch available on market seemed too crappy or too expensive to me so I made a decision to make it myself and started this project. It ended up pretty good and I thought I could share my experience with the world.
